Introduction to Handguns

Alpha 1 offers courses designed for novice shooters, beginner shooters, or anyone who desires to drill and perfect the fundamentals. Our training courses take place in an intimate, small group environment. This kind of instruction fosters friendly competition and ensures that you get the attention that you deserve, while keeping shooters of all levels feeling adequately challenged.

Concealed Carry Training

Alpha 1 Tactical offers CCW courses that satisfy the training requirement for the Arizona CWP (Concealed Weapons Permit). Our courses include a combination of classroom and range time at the same location. If you plan to carry concealed this course will provide valuable knowledge on proper carry methods and manipulations of your weapon.

Practical Carbine Courses

Alpha 1 Tactical’s Practical Rifle Courses are designed for rifle shooters of all experience levels. In these courses we cover the practical applications of using modern carbines for personal and home defense.

Self-defense Courses

Alpha 1 Tactical is an affiliate of Blauer Tactical Systems. Our self-defense courses are based around Tony Blauer’s world-renowned SPEAR System. These courses are available for anyone 12 years or older.
