Practical Carbine 2
Build on what you learned in PC1 by engaging multiple targets, practicing transitioning to pistol, and other more advanced techniques under the added pressure of a shot timer. This is a formal class for which attendees who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate. Must have successfully passed Practical Carbine 1 or similar course to attend.

- Fundamental rifle concepts (sighting, height over bore, hold-overs, etc.)
- Basic function and manipulation of your firearm.
- Shooting from multiple positions (standing, kneeling, prone).
- Reload (emergency, tactical, administrative).

Required Gear
- Functioning and well maintained carbine (AR-15, AK47, or similar) in a case.
- Functioning and well maintained pistol in a case.
- Sling
- Holster
- A minimum of 3 spare magazines (1 for pistol).
- A minimum of 1 magazine pouch. (1 for rifle and 1 for pistol).
- Sturdy belt (shooter’s belt, rigger’s belt, etc.).
- At least 300 rounds of quality ammunition for rifle. 100 rounds for pistol.
- Handheld light and weapon mounted light for rifle.
