Precision shooting at long distances is a fundamental skill for all firearms enthusiasts. Its application ranges from hunting, competition, defending property, or just plain recreation. In fact, knowing the basics of zeroing, ballistics, using magnified optics, etc. are firearms skills that all firearms enthusiasts should know and practice. In this course, you will learn everything you need to know to get started shooting intermediate to long distances (300-1,000+ yards). Class size is limited to 10 people due to limited space on the shooting platform. Spots claimed on a first-come-first-served basis.

- Basics of external ballistics.
- Mil vs. MOA
- Using dope charts/apps.
- Shooting from the prone and seated positions.
- Engaging targets out to 1,000 yards (for those with the adequate equipment)

Required Gear
- Zeroed and well maintained rifle (bolt or semi-auto) with magnified optics (minimum .223 caliber, max .338 LM).
- Sling
- Bipod or shooting rest.
- At least 100 rounds of quality ammunition.
- Eye protection
- Ear protection (electronic is recommended).
- Shooting mat
- Close-toed shoes
- Hydration
- Snacks
Recommended Gear
- Hat
- Shemagh or other neck wrap to protect against sun and ejected shells.
- Sunscreen
- Pants and long sleeve shirt.
- First aid kit/IFAK
