Once you have successfully completed Practical Carbine 1 and are comfortable with the manipulation and use of your rifle, it’s time to determine your effective range with it. This course is information heavy as it covers the concepts that impact accuracy at longer distances such as different zeroes, ballistics, etc. Whether shooting with a red dot or a magnified optic, we show you that you can effectively employ your rifle out to 600+ yards.

Required Gear
- Functioning and well maintained carbine (AR-15, AK47, or similar) in a case.
- Sling
- A minimum of 3 spare magazines.
- A minimum of 1 magazine pouch.
- Sturdy belt (shooter’s belt, rigger’s belt, etc.).
- At least 250 rounds of quality ammunition.
- Eye protection
- Ear protection (electronic is recommended).
- Shooting mat
